Now off to Starbucks. They're giving free stuff to people that voted,and they have this new Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate that I'm SO intrigued by.

I didn't get an I voted sticker this morning when I voted. Ah well.

And I'm sorry to burst your bubble, Tri, but it's against federal law to do anything that encourages or discourages someone to vote. So Starbucks is giving free stuff to anyone who comes in to celebrate election day.

did you guys know that the logo of Starbucks is not a mermaid, but a siren? You can see the tail coming up on both sides of the logo, and sirens are the ones with split tails.

A siren may be a type of mermaid, although yes, the image on the Starbucks logo is a siren. If I recall correctly, the image of the siren, due to the split tails, was considered to be sexually charged in the medieval era, for reasons that ought to be manifestly obvious.

I understand your... not exactly pain but outcry over your hair. -laugh- Mine was once past my waist and I chopped it to past my shoulders. It's presently past my shoulders and I'm considering chopping it to just touching my shoulders.

Tri - I cannot help it if my pic(s) are old. I don't take pics of myself. My most recent is probably while in NOLA during Mardi Gras almost 2 years ago. No one gets to see those.
